Hi, I’m Lou—the calm, coffee-fueled recruiter behind TLC Recruitment Nest. Since 2017, I’ve worked remotely to help companies—from startups to global firms—build teams with a steady, human-first approach. I cut through the agency noise to provide thoughtful, direct recruiting expertise.


I started TLC Recruitment Nest to offer something different: a recruiting partnership that’s as personal as a handwritten note and as reliable as your morning brew. My mission is to help you hire with intention, not just urgency.

I have been a remote-first recruiter since 2017, supporting domestic and global hiring across the US, Australia, and Singapore. I bring the discipline and compliance experience of an HR Independent Contractor directly to your team.


My background extends well beyond standard recruiting: university lecturer, student services coordinator, and retail manager. This unique history is my advantage—it taught me how to listen deeply, solve problems quickly, and connect with people authentically. That background shapes every hire I make today—with empathy, curiosity, and care. 


Outside of recruiting? You might find me sipping an iced coffee while mapping out onboarding plans or chatting with former students about their career journeys.
